The first time I saw this space, I mean REALLY saw it, I was shivering. It was below the freezing mark in December and I had made the decision to open a second family and wedding photography office west of Boston, only I had no idea where.
I knew I wanted this to be a space of refuge for my clients – an oasis in the desert of their busy lives that would allow them to stop the daily grind, and indulge in the simple luxury of family. Because lazy Saturdays turn into wall to wall soccer practice, bedtime stories are replaced with homework, and suddenly the long days of toddler-dom seem like a previous life. Everything evolves. Why not create a space that isn’t just about choosing photographs, but actually allow you to take a long, slow drink of this moment?
One chilly afternoon I wandered out to the old, unused garage bay on the far end of our house. It was dark and dirty as heck, filled with decades of unwanted gardening tools, random building materials, and old patio furniture. I craned to see beyond the stacks of plywood on the rickety beams above my head. And slowly, a smile spread across my face. A vision was forming. I felt blood rush to my cheeks. And suddenly, I wasn’t cold anymore.
This week, my vision came to life. Located only 25 minutes directly west of Boston, the stress of the city falls away as lush preservation land guides you to my home in Wayland. Of course, there’s no parking hassles in my driveway, with a separate turnout for client use.
I built the interior of this space to be LUXURIOUS – a 120″ projector screen with surround sound speakers to watch the story of your life will be complimented with mint and cucumber infused water grown in our home garden. If the kids join you, there’s over two acres of lawn for them to romp in while we create your custom designs. My home is your home.

The Wayland Gallery was created with this service in mind: to give every each and every one of my clients an adult time out, to stop and breathe in the beautiful, messy, imperfectly perfect details of today. To absorb your family stories and know the details will always be right in front of you, whether you’re making coffee or folding laundry or picking up the trail of toys from a day full fun.
Thank you so much to the incredible clients who trust me with honoring their family in the way they deserve. None of this is possible without you.
A HUGE thanks to L&L Contractors for getting this done quickly and beautifully!
I can’t wait to see all of you here!!! The Wayland Gallery is open for business!
Love to all of you,
