Welcome Willa | A South End Newborn Story

Today’s blog is a story that’s particularly close to my heart.  The sweet Liu family has had a year of deep sadness and extraordinary happiness.  Handling the emotional roller coaster of life is never easy, but when you’re preparing for your first baby, it can all be truly daunting.  Throughout the year that Kiera was carrying beautiful Willa, I don’t think I heard her complain once.  I kept telling her that she could dish to me, I remembered pregnancy ALL TOO WELL.  But she never did.  Every time we spoke she was bright and happy…and you could hear the smile through the phone.  She would often talk about her husband, Frank, and what an incredible support he was for her.  What an incredible support they were for each other.  It’s hard to imagine packing the amount of life they had into one year, but not only did they survive, they are thriving.

I had the privilege of documenting one of their first mornings at home with baby Willa.  It was amazing to watch my friend transition to motherhood so perfectly overnight.  Meanwhile, Frank is quarterbacking their parent teamwork better than the Patriots could, and Cody (their pup) has already figured out that pacifiers made great chew toys, too.  Yup, it’s one heck of a happy home.  Enjoy their sweet story.

Judy Beauchemin - What a beautiful love story! The pictures are wonderful. My sweet granddaughter, Kiera and her devoted husband, Frank are such special parents. Little Willa will grow with Cody and mommy and daddy as a happy family, loved and cherished forever. I can’t wait to meet my sweet granddaughter in person…soon. Thank you for this beautiful welcome into their home.ReplyCancel
