Boston Engagement Photographer | Strawberry Field Slow Dance

Wanna hear something funny?  This engagement farm session was originally scheduled to happen on December 20th, at the same hour my water broke.  Thankfully, this gracious bride could sense baby Wyatt was ready to arrive, and rescheduled the session for their next trip back to Massachusetts – the week of their wedding!  So yesterday I had the great pleasure of photographing Shannon and Matt’s engagement session at 4 Town Farm in southern MA.  This sweet couple live in California, but are MA natives and getting married this Friday at the Blithewold Mansion in Bristol, RI.  We had so much fun picking (and eating!) these incredibly delicious fruit that are about to go out of season.  But to be honest, I think the highlight for me was seeing Matt sing to Shannon during a slow dance in the strawberry field, and watching her melt.

When we realized we were going to hop a tractor for this experience we all got a LITTLE more excited.

We saw at least 15 different variations of crops being grown on the farm, from lettuce to fava beans to corn!

Hopping the strawberry field rows was a little challenging because nothing feels worse than squishing a precious strawberry under your feet!

Yes, the strawberries were DELICIOUS.

The most striking moment for me was when Matt sang to Shannon.  I could see her fall in love with him again in that moment.
