Last month I had the pleasure of documenting a stunning Fairmont Copley Plaza wedding on one of the coldest days in Boston’s history. But the below zero temps this Valentine’s Day weekend were no match for all the love being felt at Caitlin and Brendan’s wedding. One of my favorite parts of any wedding day is hearing what friends and family share during their speeches, and what I heard this evening at the Fairmont was so beautiful: Caitlin and Brendan are an example of commitment and companionship to everyone around them. Truth be told, I witnessed this myself shortly before their wedding, when we met at the Fairmont Copley to finalize their wedding photography schedule. They explained how tired they were because Caitlin had been up until 3AM grading papers…and Brendan, not wanting Caitlin to be alone, poured some coffee and sat beside her until she was done. Now that’s love in action.

Caitlin had the total fairy-tale dress.
I love this photograph of Caitlin because you can feel what who she is as a person. Yes, she’s beautiful on the outside, but her heart is what shines through here.
Everyone talked about how great Brendan’s smile is and it’s true! He’s such a happy-go-lucky guy who is super devoted to his lady.
The Fairmont Copley does old world glamour like no other venue. Every time I photograph a wedding here I’m reminded of how every nook and cranny has incredible details.
These two were such troopers! It was something like negative 10 degrees outside when we stepped out for a few portraits. Can’t tell, can you?
Caitlin’s brother played guitar with the band, and did an incredible job!
