Christina and Ross’s Charlestown engagement story will make you believe in only one true love. Life pushed them together in so many ways before they actually met face to face, it seemed like cupid had been aiming for quite some time. Ross was initially Christina’s client, so 50 plus emails were exchanged without ever a hint of affection. Turns out, they also lived in the same building in Charlestown, but were still strangers passing in night. Finally one day they were both rushing to grab a cab – and they were both headed to pre-wedding bach parties. More kismet. After meeting on the sidewalk, Ross suggested they shared a cab to Logan and soon discovered that in fact, they weren’t perfect strangers after all. Months passed before their first date, but Ross knew Christina was the one. His patience and perserverance paid off when he finally heard the good news: Christina was newly single. One of my favorite parts of this engagement session is when I asked Christina and Ross to tell me about their first date – they laughed so hard recounting the anxious and sweet moments that became the start of the rest of their lives. I am so honored and excited to be sharing their Charlestown engagement session with you today, and cannot wait to document their wedding at The State Room in August. Enjoy!
This first shot was from there home, and while this only served as our meeting spot, I felt it captured them perfectly.
We found some really interesting and multi-textural alleys as we walked by the monument and through the streets of Charlestown to the Navy Yard.
I brought along some bubbly and we cracked it open once we settled in at the pier.
I mean, have you ever seen two people enjoy each other so much?
Here, Christina and Ross are telling me the story of their first date. If you’ve never asked them, you should. Priceless.
They officially “met” in a cab so…we couldn’t miss this opportunity!
